Customer Support Specialist, Spanish and English

About the role

More families are keeping their memories in Memrial from Spain and across Latin America. This role supports them in Spanish while working in English with the rest of the team.

You will be based with our Valencia group, in the office a few days a week, and work alongside support colleagues in the United Kingdom. We write carefully and we would rather send a proper answer than a quick one.

What you will do

• Answer customer questions in Spanish and English by email.
• Help families with sign-in, uploads, invitations, storage and billing.
• Translate and adapt help articles so they read naturally in Spanish.
• Reproduce issues clearly and pass them to engineering.
• Keep accurate notes so a colleague in another country can continue a conversation.
• Tell the team where the product is confusing for Spanish-speaking households.

What we look for

• Professional working Spanish and English, written and spoken.
• Experience in customer support or a similar written support role.
• Careful, patient writing.
• Comfortable learning new software and explaining it simply.
• Able to work from our Valencia office a few days each week.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting customers in more than one country.
• Familiarity with a helpdesk tool such as Zendesk, Intercom or Front.
• Interest in family history, photography or home video.
