Cookie Policy

Necessary cookies

Memrial uses cookies that are needed to sign you in, protect your account, remember security and legal choices, keep an upload connected to your session, and provide the private archive. The service cannot work correctly without them.

Helpful product insights

With your permission, Memrial uses first party cookies and browser storage to understand how the service is used. This can include pages visited, features used, buttons selected, forms started or completed, scrolling, time spent, video playback progress, device type, and the campaign that brought someone to Memrial.

These insights help us find confusing journeys, improve features, understand whether families are getting value from their archive, and offer better support. We do not use private family memories for advertising and do not sell this information.

Helpful product insights are off until you choose to allow them. Your choice lasts for up to six months and can be changed at any time through Privacy choices in the website footer. Choosing only necessary cookies does not remove any archive feature.

Marketing

Memrial will ask before using optional cookies for advertising or cross site measurement. Product insight permission does not give permission for advertising cookies.

Changing your choice

Open Privacy choices in the footer, choose your preference, and the new choice applies from that point. You can also clear Memrial cookies in your browser. Clearing cookies may sign you out and cause Memrial to ask for your choice again.

For questions, email [email protected].

Questions on this policy

Ask for a plain-English explanation.

If something here is unclear, write to the privacy team. We will explain what the policy means for your archive.
