After we return your images to you we keep a copy of them on our secure servers for up to 2 years.

All images are available to view or download online for 30 days and can also be returned on either a disc, USB memory stick or SD card.

You can have your digital images returned on a USB memory stick or SD card, or download them directly to your device.

Photographs / Prints We scan all sizes of photographs, colour or black and white, provided they are at least 2" in size.

Slides All sizes of mounted slides are scanned, from regular 35mm projector slides to 60mm medium-format slides.

Film negatives / Transparencies We scan all negative sizes from 110 instamatic, up to 8 x 10-inch Large Format film.

Large format film, though we don't process any form of cine or VHS film.

If you would like to take advantage of our free or paid for collection service, then simply let us know from where and when you would like the package collected along with a rough estimate of the weight and dimensions.

All 40mm frames are scanned at 4000 dpi, giving a large image suitable for all uses. Due to their larger original size, 60mm frames are scanned at 3200 dpi, which helps to maintain a reasonable final file size.

If you have placed an order with us you should have received an automated welcome email and an order confirmation email containing your order details, further emails will also be automatically sent by our booking system once your order is arrives and another email once your order is complete and ready for payment. If you have not received these then please check your junk / Spam email folder as our emails are sometimes treated as junk. If the emails are in your junk folder then please add [email protected] as a safe sender to ensure any future emails are received directly to your inbox.

Do you send the originals back ? Yes we return everything you send us, unless you instruct us to dispose of the items after scanning. How should I send my items to you? We will accept your images in whatever you currently store them in. You can ship them in boxes, padded bags, slide carousels, slide holders or whatever you have to hand. When you package your items, please remember the following:

Why is Medium Format film more expensive to scan than regular film ? 35mm film and slides are quicker to handle and scan as our 35mm scanners are designed to handle this common size of film quickly with minimum preparation and scanning time required. Medium Format film has to be treated individually and manually mounted into a suitable film holder, scanned and then removed. The larger film surface also takes more time to scan, the cost is therefore directly linked to the time it takes us to scan each frame. My slides are very mouldy or dusty can you still scan them?

Heavier items (over 2KG) (UK mainland only) All items over 2KG will be returned by DPD courier service. The charge is £10.99 for items up to 5KG and £16.99 for an item up to 30KG. Collections and returns can be made from or to any UK mainland address, which can be either your home address, family / friends, or your place of work.
