Which Service should I choose? We offer three flexible levels of photo scanning service to suit the condition of your photos and the results you’d like to achieve:  Please note: a minimum order of £25.00 applies to our photo scanning services. Basic Scanning – 60p each (up to 10x8") Ideal for good quality prints where you simply want a digital copy of your collection. This option is quick, affordable, and perfect for archiving albums or boxes of photographs.

Recommended if your photos are starting to show their age. We carry out light corrections to improve colour and contrast, helping to restore clarity and bring life back into slightly faded prints.  Premium Scanning – £1.50 each (up to 10x8") Designed for older or more delicate photographs that need extra care. We apply additional corrections and enhancements to ensure your photos are digitised at the highest quality, preserving detail and protecting your memories. Part & Full Restoration Options Sometimes scanning alone isn’t enough. If your photos are damaged, scratched, or heavily faded, we can combine restoration with digitisation: Part Restoration – from £1.50 to £20

How Much Does It Cost? To keep things simple, we charge per tape regardless of length*, format, or content. Once we rescue your old videos, we need to put them onto something you can actually plug in and watch. What happens if my tape is longer than the standard 2 hours? Don't worry if you aren't sure how long your videos are. Our standard rate covers up to 2 hours per tape. If a tape runs over, it is just £5 per additional hour. We will automatically check the lengths and contact you with a final price before charging you anything extra. Can you combine multiple home video tapes onto a single USB drive? Yes, absolutely!

Can you convert a tape that has broken or snapped? Yes, in most cases we can. If an old camcorder or VHS tape has snapped, jammed, or been eaten by an old VCR, we can perform a physical tape splice repair in our studio to make it playable. This service costs £10 per tape. While severe physical damage can occasionally cause a tiny loss of footage at the break site, we can safely rescue the vast majority of the recording. Safe & Convenient Local Handovers We know your family tapes are irreplaceable, which is why you don’t have to risk putting them in the post. We offer secure, personal handovers at convenient public meeting points across Wakefield and Leeds (like a local coffee shop).

I have small/very large collection that I would like scanning? Not a problem, no job is too big or too small. Please note: There is a minimum spend of £25.00 for our photo, slide and negatives scanning services. Thank you. I’m not sure how many photos/slides/negatives/tapes I have? Don't worry at all. You can simply hand over your collection to us as it is. We will carefully sort through them, count them accurately for you, and send you a clear quote for your approval before commencing any digitisation work in our studio.

• What type of album is it? For the slide in and flip type it’s usually quite easy to remove the photos for scanning. However for the self-adhesive type it’s usually very difficult to remove the photos that have been in them for more than a year or two without damaging them. However, we are happy to scan your albums for the additional cost of £10 per album as long as the photos can be removed without any risk of damage. If we are unable to remove the photos we can scan the photos in situ usually resulting in an image similar in quality to that of a loose photo. You may have an album that someone has lovingly put together with hand written notes or annotations, we could also scan these photos in situ and capture that irreplaceable narrative too. Do you crop and rotate my photos?

Don't worry at all. You can simply hand over your collection to us as it is. We will carefully sort through them, count them accurately for you, and send you a clear quote for your approval before commencing any digitisation work in our studio. How long will my order take? Times vary for each order depending on size and the amount of work involved, larger or complex projects may require more time to ensure maximum quality. We aim to complete each order as soon as possible and most customers will receive their media back within one to two weeks. We will be able to advise you with a precise estimation once we have assessed your order.

Do you require payment up front? For Digital Services - No we don’t, we send you an invoice once we complete your order. When payment has been made we return all your items, your digitised images/videos and any additional items you have ordered. For Bulk Orders - We may require a 50% Deposit What are the payment methods?

Will my photos come back in the same order as I sent them? We usually scan them in the order they were received and so we try to keep them in the same order for when we return them but occasionally there may be a photo not in the same place. If this is of importance to you then please let us know when you send them. What resolution do you scan my photos/slides/negatives at? We scan photos @300 DPI, slides @4800 DPI and Negatives @ 4000 DPI. Other resolutions are available upon request. Please contact us for further details.
