The free allowance is 2.0 GB shared across the archive, with no card needed. Check the size of your converted videos when deciding what to upload, and retain your own backups.

Timeline lets you attach exact or approximate dates so relatives can find memories by year. For an anniversary, you could revisit an uploaded wedding video through a Live Watch Party: playback is synchronised, the host controls play, pause and seek, and relatives nearby or far away can use voice and text chat. The free allowance is three hours per month with up to six participants.

Event Memories can collect the anniversary photos taken today alongside the older recording. A secure occasion contribution link lets people sign in and upload without becoming archive members. Contributions go into the event album, and closing the link keeps the memories already collected.
